Trevor is a former military officer with a career track record of developing high impact intelligence led businesses.

In the UK military he served in the Scots Guards, retiring as a Captain. Subsequently he returned to his native South Africa and led the Southern Mozambique Land Mine Reconnaissance programme for HALO Trust / UN demining programme.

Returning to the UK Trevor began a 5-year career in financial markets consulting, culminating in a partnership at an industry leader.

After becoming fascinated with the power of mass data to support and drive strategic decisions / agendas, he exited his consulting career and founded and led Coalition to become the sector leader, operating in NY, Singapore, London, Hong Kong and Mumbai with over 180 employees. Coalition attracted direct investment from UBS, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan and was acquired in 2012 by a subsidiary of Standard and Poor’s. Trevor briefly became European Chairman before taking a 2 year sabbatical to pursue a personal interest.

After his sabbatical period Trevor invested in a small number of technology led security companies as well as developing an African advisory business which works primarily with African governments on assisting in solving strategic issues.
